Health equity

We have extensive experience on health disparities research and programs to assess health equity or measure progress towards health equity. We look at various determinants ranging from economic, social and environmental disadvantages/barriers as we explore the health disparities/inequity based on their race, gender, age, socio-economic status, geographic location etc.

Literature review/synthesis and evaluation

We conduct literature reviews to synthesize and summarize scientific evidence about various risk and beneficial factors, programs, and initiatives on various public health outcomes. We produce rigorous and scientifically defensible results based on the best available science by taking structured approach to synthesize scientific evidence; identify existing weight of evidence for policy, programs, and informed decision making; identify current knowledge gaps and weakness; and provide recommendation for future studies and program needs to fill the gaps.

Health data analytics

We have extensive knowledge and experience working with big data, and know the right tools and methods for data collection (via survey, secondary data sources, focus groups etc.), cleaning/QA and management; develop analytics plans; and interpretation of study results that can help to make informed decisions on improving population health and achieve health equity. We have knowledge of various analytical and data visualization tools: statistical software (Excel, Tableau and SAS), and mapping/visualization software (ArcGIS, Tableau). Data analysis support can include simple (e.g: Descriptive analysis, Correlations, ANOVA) and/or complex (e.g: linear and logistic regression analysis; survival analysis or time to event analysis and Cox hazard models; multi-level models to assess relationships of individual-level participants characteristics, as well as social, neighborhood and environmental factors on outcomes of interest) analyses. Visualization support includes presentation of complex study findings in easy understandable tables, figures and graphs that can support public health practice and outcomes.

Program evaluation

We apply evaluation models and frameworks to conduct studies and analysis of outcomes and effectiveness of program implementation. The evidence-based evaluation approach helps generate actionable findings to make informed decision, plan effective public health strategies, and improve existing programs.

Study reports and publications

We have experience in generating study reports, white papers and peer-reviewed scientific publications. The reports and papers produced are based on rigorous methods to meet scientific integrity.
